Be a Part of the “Idol Dropout” Album

I’m heading into the studio this spring to record my next album, Idol Dropout.

This project means a lot to me. It’s a collection of songs written from a place of honesty, without trying to fit into a box… just following what felt true.

I’m investing a lot into this record, and I’ve also opened up a small fan-supported campaign for anyone who wants to be part of bringing these songs to life.

If you feel called to be part of the journey, I’d love to have you.

Jessie Bird | Official Nominee for Roots Artist of the Year

Jessie Bird is honoured to be named an official nominee for Roots Artist of the Year with Country Music Alberta.

This marks Jessie’s first-ever award nomination, a meaningful milestone in her songwriting journey. Being recognized by peers within Alberta’s music community for music rooted in honesty and lived experience is deeply humbling. Jessie is grateful for the listeners, collaborators, and supporters who have believed in her work and helped bring these songs to life. This nomination is a reflection of that shared support and connection.

She carries this moment with heartfelt gratitude and pride.

Alberta Dreams Song Contest | Grand Prize Winner!

Written for the Alberta Dreams Song contest, this song was shaped by the heart of Alberta Dreams and their 40 years of "fulfilling dreams for children in Alberta with chronic or life-threatening medical illnesses." It's about standing beside someone when the nights feel long, offering a steady hand when fear shows up, and believing that even in the hardest moments, hope can still be felt.

This song is Jessie's way of holding space for courage, light, and the promise that no one has to face the road alone.
